Hi, I'm Ella Etienne, a London-based artist working across painting, drawing and sculpture. I graduated from the City & Guilds of London Art School in 2022 with a 2.1 BA (Hons) in Fine Art and was awarded the Board of Trustees Prize in the same year.

Since graduating, my work has been exhibited in a number of group exhibitions across London and continues to evolve through the conceptual framework of Sonder House. It is an ongoing exploration of perception, symbolism and imaginative world-building that brings together my multidisciplinary practice.

Working primarily in oil paint, I create psychologically charged landscapes and symbolic environments that exist between observation and imagination. Drawing upon themes of light, nature, memory and spirituality, my work explores the emotional and metaphysical qualities of place, allowing meaning to emerge gradually through intuition and sustained acts of looking.
