Rain

A faceted gem lay buried beneath the dark grain of the Obsidian Planes, untouched by moonlight and unmoved by the Selcouth Sea winds. Without reflection or refraction, it remained dormant — without light, without life.

Then a quiet rumble passed through the Orb’s core. A divine glow followed, cracking the surface again and again as luminescent veins pulsed outward, reaching through the Dreamosphere. The light stirred the clouds above, releasing a fall of dream-ash that flooded the fractures below.

For a moment, the light disappeared.
Then Rain emerged.

Seeing the world through gem-cut eyes, she paints in shattered colour — capturing beauty she never knew existed.
